We raised in total £1000!!! 1000ポンドが集まりました!!!

The final amount of donations raised at Cheer Up Japan Concert and Cheer Up Japan After Party has reached £1,000. This includes donations collected at Tinderbox Concert held on 22 May thanks to Mr Jack Nissan, co-ordinator to the Tinderbox Orchestra (http://www.tinderboxproject.co.uk/). Mr Atzi (Atsushi) Muramatsu and Mr David Townhill in Lipsync for a Lullaby helped it happen. I heartily thank Mr Nissan and them.

 

「元気のでる音楽会」「元気のでる慰労会」で集められた募金の最終額は、１０００ポンドに達しました。これには、ティンダーボックスオーケストラ（http://www.tinderboxproject.co.uk/）のまとめ役であるジャック・ニッサンさんのおかげで、5月22日に持たれたティンダーボックスコンサートで集められた募金も含まれています。Lypsync for a Lullabyの村松敦さんとデイビッド・タウンヒルさんがお力を貸してくださいました。ニッサンさんとお二人に心より感謝いたします。

 

The following is a list how much were raised in each of the above events:

Cheer Up Japan After Party:       £79.72

Tinderbox Concert:                     £17.75

Other donations collected later: £40.43

 

以下は、上記の企画のそれぞれでどれだけ募金が集められたかのリストです。

Regarding the raised £1,000, one half has been sent to Hand in Hand for Japan and the other half has been sent to an account specially for donations to support for North East Japan set up by the Consulate-General of Japan in Edinburgh.

 

集まった1,000ポンドは、その半分を、Hand in Hand for Japanへ、残り半分を、在エディンバラ総領事館の義捐金受付口座へと送付しました。

 

Our donation to Hand in Hand for Japan will be sent to Ishinomaki-city in early August with other donations to be used as relief fund of the city. The death toll in Ishinomaki-city has exceeded 3,000 and is the largest among all cities, towns, and villages affected by the earthquake and tsunami on 11 March. It has occupied more than one-third of the total death toll in Miyagi-prefecture where Ishinomaki-city is located. The money sent to the Consulate-General of Japan in Edinburgh will be sent to Japan Red Cross to be used as relief fund distributed to local governments affected by the earthquake. 

 

Hand in Hand for Japanへの私たちの募金は、8月上旬に他の寄付金とともに石巻市に義捐金として使われるよう、送られるとのことです。石巻市は、3月11日の大地震・津波で被害を受けた全市町村の中で最も死者数が多く、3,000人を超えています。宮城県全体の死者数の3分の1以上の数を占めています。在エディンバラ総領事館へ送られた募金は、地震で影響を受けた自治体へと配分される義捐金として、日本赤十字社へと送られます。

This party would partly be a farewell party for some Japanese exchange students, both members of the Japanese Singing Group and performers of the concert.

 

このパーティは日本語合唱団のメンバーまた、音楽会の出演者である日本からの交換留学生のお別れ会もかねています。

 

We would also hope to collect donations for supporting victims of Japan's earthquake and tsunami at the night.

 

また、日本の地震と津波の被災地支援のための募金を集めることも願っています。



All the donations collected at the night would be added to the money collected at Cheer Up Japan Concert on 6 May.

  

この日のすべての募金は、５月６日の元気のでる音楽会で集められた金額に加えられることになります。

 

All the donations would be sent equally to Japan Red Cross via Japanese Consulate

General in Edinburgh and Ishinomaki-city in Miyagi prefecture, a severely affected area via Hand in Hand for Japan.

 

募金は、在エディンバラ日本国総領事館を通じて日本赤十字社に、また、Hand in Hand for Japanを通じて、深刻な被害を受けた一つである宮城県石巻市に均等に送られます。
