Peruvian Christmas Party 　ペルーのクリスマスパーティ

Thanks to the Bazaar on 11 December, the Japanese Singing Group was invited to sing at Peruvian Christmas Party held on 18 December.  Nine members attended to sing three songs and enjoyed Peruvian hot chocolate, cakes and foods.

１２月１１日にもたれたバザーがきっかけとなり、日本語合唱団は、１２月１８日に開かれたペルーの方たちのクリスマスパーティで歌うようお誘いを受けました。９人のメンバーが参加し、３曲歌うとともに、ペルーのホットチョコレート、ケーキ、食事を楽しみました。

After Naomi introduced the singing group from 6.30pm, we sang 'Hotaru koi' acappella, and 'kimio nosete' and 'Sakura' with music files. Each song was introduced respectively by Satoko, Takako, and Farhan.

午後６時半から、菜織美さんがまず合唱団の紹介をしたあと、「蛍こい」はアカペラで、「君をのせて」と「さくら」は音楽を流しながら歌いました。それぞれの歌の前には、さとこさん、たかこさん、ファーハンさんが簡単な歌の紹介をしました。

Everybody listened to us quietly and we also sang comfortably. Many voices were heard that in particular 'Sakura' was good. Since we had been struggling to sing this song, I myself was very much moved by listening to our own harmony which was resonant beautifully.

静かに耳を傾けて聞いてくださり、私たちも気持ちよく歌うことができました。多くのかたから、特に「さくら」が良かったとの声を寄せていただきました。苦しみながら練習してきた曲でしたが、私自身、この日は、ハーモニーが美しく響いているのにとても感動しました。

It was the first time for us to be invited to other group's party to sing, it was a valuable opportunity to communicate and I learnt a lot from from. I really appreciate the Latin American Chorus Group(LACE) to invite us there.

こうした他のグループのパーティにゲストとして呼んでいただいたのは初めてでしたが、とても貴重な交流ができたとともに、学ばせていただくことがたくさんありました。招待してくださった、ラテンアメリカンコーラスグループ（ＬＡＣＥ）の方々に心よりお礼を申し上げます。
