With International Cinema Club 国際映画クラブとともに

The fourth meeting of the Film Group will be held on 4 March, Thursday, from 6pm to 9pm at the Tollcross Community Centre jointly with the Welcoming International Cinema Club.　　　

　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　映画の会の第四回の集まりは、トルクロス・コミュ二ティ・センターでWelcoming国際映画クラブと共同で、３月４日、木曜日の午後６時より９時までもたれます。

'Tony Takitani' will be shown on this day. No fees are charged. This film is based on the same name short story written by Japanese novelist Haruki Murakami. It won three awards at Locarno International Film Festival in 2004. The director Jun Ichikawa was born in1948 and loved Mr Murakami's novels belonging to the same generation, although Mr. Ichikawa died　in 2008.

「トニー滝谷」がこの日に上映されます。参加費はかかりません。この映画は日本人の小説家村上春樹によって書かれた同名の短編に基づいたものです。映画は、２００４年には、ロカルノ国際映画祭で３つの賞を獲得しました。市川準監督は、１９４８年に生まれ、２００８年に亡くなったのですが、同世代に属し、村上さんの小説が好きでした。

The music score was made by Mr. Ryuichi Samamoto. The film depicts loneliness of a Japanese  man called Tony Takitani, who was given an American-like first name by his father just after the World War II.

映画音楽は坂本龍一さんによって作られています。映画は、ちょうど第二次世界大戦後に父親によってアメリカ人のような名前をつけられた、トニー滝谷と呼ばれた日本人の男性の孤独を描いています。

The Welcoming International Cinema Club is one of activities organised by the Welcoming at Adult Learning Centre of the Tollcross Community Centre.
