Another film for the Film Group 映画の会・もう一つの映画

I would like to organise another meeting for the Film Group on Saturday, 20 February, after watching the film 'Still Walking' starting at 3.30pm at the Filmhouse.

映画の会のもう一つの集まりを、２月２０日の土曜日、フィルムハウスで午後３時３０分にはじまる映画「歩いても歩いても」をみた後、持ちたいと思います。

This film's director is Mr Hirokazu Koreeda. He is well known as the director of the film 'Nobody Knows' since the main actor of this film, Mr Yuya Yagira, wan the best (male) actor  award at Cannes International Film Festival in 2004 when he was still 14. Mr Koreeda also has made several documentaries focused on varieties of topics related social and political matters.

この映画の監督は、是枝裕和さんです。彼は、「誰も知らない」という映画の監督してよく知られています。というのは、この映画の主演だった柳楽優弥さんが２００４年のカンヌ国際映画祭で、当時まだ１４歳だったのですが、ベスト主演男優賞を獲得したからでした。是枝さんは、また社会的政治的な問題に関連したさまざまな話題に焦点をあてたいくつかのドキュメンタリーを作ってきておられます。

'Still Walking' was released in 2008 and has won some film awards both in Japan and outside Japan. A well-known actor in Japan, Mr Kiichi Nakai stated that this film gives off a similar atmospher with Mr Yasujiro Ozu's films.

「歩いても歩いても」は２００８年に公開され、日本、日本国外でいくつかの映画賞を得ています。ある日本人の良く知られた俳優である中井貴一さんは、この映画は、小津安二郎さんの映画の香りが漂っていると述べています。
