Japanese films at Filmhouse フィルムハウスの日本映画

In January 2010 you can watch some Japanese films at the Filmhouse in Edinburgh. One of them is Departures (Okuribito), which won Oscar for best foreign language film category in 2009.

２０１０年１月には、エディンバラのフィルムハウスでいくつかの日本映画を見ることができます。その一つは、２００９年にオスカーをベスト外国語映画カテゴリーで受賞した、「おくりびと」です。

This will be screened  from 15 to 20 January. I wonder Film Group can be organised after watching this film on Saturday, 16 January, starting at 5.30pm. The meeting place will be at the Filmhouse Cafe Bar.  

この映画は、１月１５日から２０日まで上映されます。できれば、１月１６日の土曜日の、５時半からはじまるこの映画を見たあと、映画の会を行えないかと思っています。会う場所は、フィルムハウスのカフェバーです。

On the other hand, a series of films directed by the late Mr Yasujiro Ozu would be screened in January and in February. Film Goup could meet after watching Tokyo Story, the most famous of his films, on Sunday 3 January, starting at 6pm. Since the film lasts more than 2 hours, it would be difficult to have a meeting of Film Group on weekdays since the film screening finishes after 10pm. 

他方で、故小津安二郎さんの一連の監督作品が１月と２月に上映されるようです。映画の会については、１月３日、日曜日の、午後６時開始の、彼の映画の中では最も有名な「東京物語」を見た後、集まるのはどうかと思っています。この映画は、２時間以上続くため、週日に映画の会を持つのは、困難に思えるからです。というのは、映画上映は午後１０時以降に終わることになるからです。
