Characters for the Film 映画の登場人物

I hope the film I mentioned in my previous entry could partly introduce the process of setting up the Japanese Institute of Scotland.

前回の記事で言及した映画は、部分的には、スコットランド日本会館の設立過程を紹介できるものであればと、私自身は願っています。

In this sence I consider I should be one of the characters in the film. Although the institute would be for Scotland, I hope the film could contribute to furthering multicultural society in Britain.  I consider to understand the reality of Japanese people living in the UK in depth requires historical and sociological analysis of British society as well as Japaense society at large.

この意味では、私自身が映画の登場人物の一人でなければと思っています。会館は、スコットランドを対象にしたものですが、映画は、イギリスにおける多文化社会を促進することに貢献できるものであればと願っています。イギリスに生活する日本人のリアリティを深いところで理解するためには、イギリス社会とともに、日本社会の歴史的社会学的分析が必要とされると思われます。
